Create lesson plans and activities online with Lesson Writer

If you think only students are getting the most out of Web 2.0, think again. Here’s one web service that I think every English teacher would be happy to use – Lesson Writer.

I know how much an effort a teacher puts into preparing for classes – writing lesson plans, obtaining engaging materials, assuring their own mastery and grasp of the topic, etc… Now what if you have a web service that allows you to use web content to drive your lessons. With all the relevant and up-to-date articles available on the web, why not use them to teach the Internet Generation?

Registering to Lesson Writer gives you access to a web service that would allow you to copy and paste any content and generate a lesson plan, complete with activities such as pronunciation exercises, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar exercises for the students. You can view the a demo here.

While it is designed for the K-12, I’m sure that teachers here in the Philippines would still find a lot of the features quite useful in teaching basic education.
